BabyCenter Community Guidelines

In the BabyCenter Community, we believe in free and open discussion on a wide variety of parenting topics. However, we remove content when it poses a personal threat to our users or otherwise contributes to a hostile environment that stifles parent-to-parent support and can threaten the health of our broader community. We do not tolerate racism, discrimination, and medical misinformation. The BabyCenter Community is for support and collaboration, not confrontation.

Every parent is unique

Every BabyCenter member has the right to share and celebrate their unique parenting journey. Our Community is a place of personal free expression, where we value an honest and supportive exchange of ideas and experiences.

Responsibility starts with you

Please remember that everything you read in our Community areas comes from other members. Because our Community is so large, BabyCenter doesn't monitor or verify the information posted by our members. We rely on you to keep us informed of violations. The information posted in our groups, including advice and opinions related to medical matters, is the responsibility of the members who create the posts.

10 rules to keep our Community safe

In order to keep this a safe place where differences in philosophies, beliefs, opinions, and parenting styles coexist, please follow these simple rules.

1. No personal attacks.

2. No racism or hate speech.

3. No attacks on sexual orientation or gender identity.

4. No medical misinformation.

5. Do not deliberately disrupt the Community.

6. No bullying or harassment.

7. No Illegal activity.

8. No pornographic materials.
