My LO is formula fed and pediatrician recommended vitamin d drops. He gave us samples of DDrops and been very happy with them. I just add a drop to his bottle. I follow the pediatrician mom on Instagram who has info on vitamin d and formula fed babies

I definitely supplemented Vit D. The brand I have is Baby Ddrops and it's in coconut oil and no other ingredients.

I am using the DDrops brand from the hospital and haven’t had this issue yet. I give one drop prior to a feeding once a day. It’s with fractioned coconut oil and that’s it as far as other ingredients.

I’ve been using Ddrops and literally just put 1 drop onto a pacifier every night and stick it into my babies mouth and he hasn’t had any issues.

Yes, my pediatrician recommended it for my newborn at 3 weeks since I’m exclusively breastfeeding. I got the mommy’s bliss organic vitamin d drops from target. Only have to use one drop per day.

I use these and Mommy's Bliss if those are available. Like PP said I look for the ones that are just one drop and contain few ingredients.

Was using mommy bliss vitamin d drops. Just one drop on the nipple before feeding, baby didn’t notice.

If on formula they don’t need anything. If breastfeed, they need Vitamin D. What have done a few and like the brand Mommy’s Bliss. It is 1 drop as day. Some of the other others are more than that. They all should be the same dose but different concentrations.

Yes I try to give 1 drop (400 IU) of vitamin D daily (some days we forget) by the company Mommy’s Bliss. We have been giving them to her since about 1 week old.

I use the Enfamil Vitamin D drops. I exclusively pump. So I just put it in her morning bottle.

Dr recommended giving 1ml per day of vitamin d (Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Infant Vitamin D Dietary Supplement Liquid Drops - 1.69oz) in the milk since we rarely get any sun in the winter. Similar to other posters, I also place the vitamin d bottle and dropper next to the warmer the night before to remember to do it in the morning.

I used the "Enfamil D-Vi-Sol" drops and mixed them into the bottle prior to the feed. You can mix it with half bottle if u think the baby won't finish it. Note:If you are formula feeding, once they reach 24oz or more (of formula, check with pediatrician) per day then you don't need to supplement with vitamin d drops since most formulas come with vitamin d, so you would have met the daily requirement.
